Patrice Peters -Fitness Specialist
Patrice Peters has a passion for fitness that shows in her drive, motivation and energy as a Fitness Professional. Research shows definitively that humans need exercise for optimum health, and Patrice believes it may as well be invigorating and fun exercise, so her classes are always upbeat and lively. Certified as a Fitness Instructor by Aerobics & Fitness Association of America, Madd Dog Athletics and YMCA, she has 16 years experience in the fitness industry.
She earned a BS in Business, Management and Finance and a Masters in Public Administration from Metropolitan College of New York. Ms. Peters has worked for Health and Racquet Club, YMCA, Gold’s Gym and Bally Total Fitness as both instructor and manager. Patrice is also an American Red Cross volunteer instructor certifying individuals in First Aid, First Aid and CPR.
Deb McCarthy - Cycling/Toning
Deb McCarthy is Certified by ACSM (American College of Sports Medicine) and the Aquatic Exercise Association as group fitness instructor. She has taught water aerobics and is a former president of Aqua Society of Atlanta.
She is a certified Spin (Indoor Cycling) instructor. Debbie assisted in organizing & implementing fitness programs for students & faculty at Mercer University.
Dr. Naima Lewis - Yogalates/Silver Sneakers
Naima Lewis Ph.D. has worked extensively in the area of kinesthetic healing throughout the nation. Her Yolates classes are targeted toward building Yoga stretching balanced with Pilates core body strength enabling students with a serene sense of empowerment. She is appreciated most for her indept analysis of movement and the personal attention she directs to individuals in small and large groups.
She is also author/producer of "Cultivating Spirituality through Yoga" DVD "Yoga for Weight Loss" DVD.
Najla - Belly dance
Najla has been instructing and performing the beautiful art of belly dance since 2007. She began teaching students at the local university the various forms and movements while integrating in the element of fitness. Belly dance is a dance originally created by women and for women. It can help boost confidence while also being an amazing workout!
