About the event
Each year the Whine Walk Run 5K has been growing bigger and better. In 2022 and 2023, we brought together individuals of all ages and abilities for a healthy day in the heart of Atlanta and on Saturday May 4th of 2024 at 8 am in Piedmont Park at the Charles Allen gate 10th St NE, Atlanta, GA 30306, we'll do so again
At the WWR5K we focus on three important initiatives:
(i) Promoting health by partnering with the Board of Health and other health organizations.
(ii) Sharing Caribbean culture with a display of art and talent from various islands.
(iii) Giving back to the Caribbean community by donating a portion of the proceeds to a Caribbean organization. This years’ beneficiary will be the VI Kings.
These three aspects are so very important to maintaining a happy and healthy Caribbean community and is a step towards supporting an overall healthy Georgia!
