GIVING BACK
RUN FOR CHARITY - BENEFICIARY
Jam Across Georgia, a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to empowering women and girls through holistic activities designed to improve their mental wellness
Women play an integral role in society, yet their mental and physical well-being often faces significant challenges. While some women may have a strong sense of their self-worth, many struggle to fully recognize their value due to societal pressures, unrealistic beauty standards, and internalized beliefs. These challenges can lead to negative repercussions that affect various areas, including work performance, mental health, decision-making, and relationships.
A community thrives when its women are healthy in mind and body, as they are empowered to contribute meaningfully, nurture relationships, and inspire others. Promoting women’s well-being not only uplifts individuals but also strengthens the social fabric, fostering a more equitable and resilient society.
Jam Across Georgia is dedicated to empowering women by offering a variety of activities, workshops, and interactive experiences designed to help them recognize and embrace their worth and value. By addressing the societal pressures, unrealistic beauty standards, health and internalized beliefs that often undermine self-esteem, the organization creates a supportive environment where women can thrive. Through these programs, women are equipped with tools to enhance their mental health, make confident decisions, and build stronger relationships.
Jam Across Georgia’s mission is to foster a positive and vibrant lifestyle, reducing stress and empowering women to live their fullest potential, which in turn strengthens the communities they are an integral part of.

A: Children aged 12 to 17 years need the signature of a consenting parent or guardian. Runners under age 12 are free but may not participate in the 5K unless accompanied by an adult.
Q: Where will we find you in the park?
A: We will be at the entrance at the Charles Allen gate in Piedmont park, Atlanta. You won’t miss us!
Q: Is there parking?
A: The WWR5K event doesn’t have official parking, so please be sure to follow street parking rules. We strongly suggest public transportation, carpooling and ride share options. There may be paid parking at the Park Tavern located in the corner of the park at 500 10th St NE, Atlanta, GA 30309.
Q: What is the best GPS address?
A: Try using Charles Allen Dr. & 10th St Atlanta, GA 30308, it may come up as rest rooms, but don’t worry, we’re not in the restrooms. That’s the address for Piedmont park restrooms and we’ll be across the way.

A: Take your time, is the only time that we have. It’s a Caribbean Fun Run - enough said but, pick your pace up and get back before the goodies are all gone.

A: Let’s get the party started. The music will be bumping - did someone say Security……???
We will have a few cultural performances, dancing, handing out food and other goodies, dancing, showcasing our sponsors, Caribbean vendors and organizations and did we mention dancing!
