About the event
The first Whine Walk Run 5K is in the books and it was a HUGE success. In 2022, we brought together individuals of all ages and abilities for a healthy day in the heart of Atlanta and hope to do so again on Saturday May 6th of 2023 at 8 am in Piedmont Park at the Charles Allen gate 10th St NE, Atlanta, GA 30306.
At the WWR5K we focus on three important initiatives:
(i) Promoting health by partnering with the Board of Health and other health organizations.
(ii) Sharing Caribbean culture with a display of art and talent from various islands.
(iii) Giving back to the Caribbean community by donating a portion of the proceeds to a Caribbean organization. This years’ beneficiary will be the VIASM Majorettes.
These three aspects are so very important to maintaining a happy and healthy Caribbean community and is a step towards supporting an overall healthy Georgia!
