Event Volunteer Waiver

Please READ and SIGN the waiver below for the May 2nd 2026 Whine Walk Run 5K.

 

     I,                    

     Volunteer, understand and agree as follows:

​

  1. That I am an adult (over the age of 18) and if younger, waiver will be signed by my parent/guardian.

  2. That I may not volunteer unless this waiver is read and signed.

  3. That I may be photographed during the event by InclusiF Fitness LLC staff, Whine Walk Run 5K team/volunteers and local media agencies covering the Whine Walk Run 5K event, for which I hereby agree to have published without further release from me. This will constitute a “model release” with regard to any media bearing my likeness used for purposes of public relations or marketing of this event or any other purpose sought by InclusiF Fitness LLC, Whine Walk Run 5K or their representatives.

  4. I hereby RELEASE, WAIVE, DISCHARGE, and HOLD HARMLESS InclusiF Fitness LLC and Whine Walk Run 5K and their representatives (“RELEASEES”) from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions and causes of action whatsoever arising out of or related to any loss, damage, injury or death, that may be sustained by me, or to any property belonging to me while participating in the Whine Walk Run 5K event.

  5. That I specifically acknowledge that I, the Volunteer, am engaging in this service as a participant, at my own risk, and not as an employee of InclusiF Fitness LLC or of the  Whine Walk Run 5K.

A few notes...

  1. Volunteers are to arrive 30 minutes before their selected times. If you need a different schedule, kindly let Patrice know ASAP - (404) 453-4378. 

  2. When you arrive, please check in at the Volunteer/Presenter tent. Water and snacks will be available for you.

  3. The runner's FAQ's may also be helpful for you and can be found here.

  4. Event address is 10th St NE, Atlanta, GA 30306 - GPS may come up as Charles Allen Gate Restroom, that's also correct.

  5. If you are doing community service or need credit hours for school, bring your forms to be signed, or let us know if you'll need a letter to validate your volunteer services.

  6. If needed, the address for the parking deck is: 1322 Monroe Drive, Atlanta, GA 30306. Please note, this is a cashless parking garage. There is Free street parking, but  WATCH OUT for the signs.

  7. May we ask you to do us a favor of sharing our event on your social media pages and tag @whinewalkrun5K?

  8. We endeavor to keep the park clean, so as you are leaving your area, please ensure that our guests have not left any 5K trash. If you are unable to collect it, please let us know, and we'll take care of it.   

  9. Attire is casual and professional; wear colorful clothes if possible, and island flags are encouraged.

  10.  After your assignment, we invite you to hang out, so feel free to bring folding chairs. Label with your name, and we'll hold them for you.
